DEALING WITH EXCESSIVE FOOT SWEAT – SUPPRESSING FOOT SWEAT

A doctor in Berlin once helped himself by sprinkling carbide powder on the insoles of his shoes. The moisture exuding from the feet generates heat through its contact with the carbide, which serves to draw out yet more moisture. In this way foot sweat is induced artificially. It was reported that the doctor used this method to cure several cases, including patients with lung diseases that had previously failed to respond to any other treatment.

The thing to remember is that it is fundamentally wrong to try to suppress foot sweat. If the odour becomes too unpleasant, bathe the feet frequently; wash them with a herbal infusion and afterwards oil them with a good, aromatic skin oil, for example Juni-perosan, that is easily absorbed. Also, change your socks and stockings frequently. These measures will do no harm and can only be beneficial. Remember, the natural functions of the body should never be suppressed because through them the system is able to work properly.
